Need to have your record cleared of a conviction? Our expungement experts can help.

When you have a criminal record, it can negatively impact your ability to get a job, a professional license, government assistance, or housing. You may be a productive member of society, but your criminal record can leave you forever reliving your past mistakes.

We believe everyone deserves a second chance. We can help you get a fresh start.

And good news: the State of California feels the same way. In November, 2014, California voters passed Proposition 47 (now codified at Cal. Penal Code Section 1170.18), which reclassified all simple drug possession convictions as misdemeanors.  If you were convicted of a felony drug possession charge before the passage of the law, you may now petition the court to reclassify your charge as a misdemeanor.

Proposition 47 also made theft crimes below $950 into misdemeanors.  If you have a felony theft conviction, we encourage you to take advantage of this new law. Vera Law Office can help.

We know that you are more than your past mistakes.
